Fall Acting for Film/TV & Stage Program

If you are seeking to become a better, more complete actor, this Acting for Film/TV & Stage program can help. Everyone, from those just beginning their career to seasoned pros, can benefit from the techniques discussed, practiced and workshopped.

Karina Arroyave teaches the course, an accomplished film and television actress with many credits, including NBC’s award winning The Blacklist role of Mierce Xiu, or her critically acclaimed role of Karla on the hit Netflix series Orange Is The New Black, the hit television series 24 and award-winning film Crash.

Guided by Karina’s professional insight, students will develop concentration and train themselves to be responsive and expressive within imaginary circumstances. This results in a skilled, authentic actor with an organic, spontaneous and disciplined instrument.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS PROGRAM:

For the first day of class, please bring a memorized monologue of your choice, something you’re excited to work on.

If you need assistance finding a monologue, a list of sites we recommend will be provided upon registration.

PROGRAM FEES

Application Fee: $50.00
Tuition: $2,750.00
  • Application fees are non-refundable
  • Course fees exclude flights and visa costs. Flights and visas are the responsibility of the student
  • A student who cancels within 7 days of signing the enrollment agreement, but before instruction begins, receives all monies returned, with the exception of the non-refundable application fee.
  • Thereafter, a student will be liable for
    • the non-refundable application fee plus
    • the cost of any textbooks or supplies accepted plus
    • tuition liability as of the student’s last date of physical attendance or date of student withdrawal request, whichever is later. Tuition liability is limited to the week during which the student withdrew or was terminated, and any previous weeks completed.
      If termination occurs, the school may keep:
      Prior to or during the first week 0%
      During the second week 25%
      During the third week 50%
      During the fourth week 75%
      After the fourth week 100%
