American Music Awards 2022 nominations: Bad Bunny, Taylor Swift score big


America loves music and what better way to celebrate it than with the 2022 American Music Awards?

This year’s show has just announced its nominations and the hottest artists are back.

The 2022 AMAs will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on, Nov. 20 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.

The host for this year’s event has yet to be announced.

Bad Bunny scored eight nominations and Beyoncé, Drake and Taylor Swift followed close behind with six nods apiece. Adele, Harry Styles and The Weeknd earned five noms each.

Famed TV producer Dick Clark created the ceremony in 1973 and ABC has been the home of the show since 1974.

Cardi B was last year’s AMAs host, with BTS, Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion emerging victorious with three awards apiece. The “WAP” rapper won an astonishing eight looks throughout the night.

Jennifer Lopez had a show-stopping performance at the 2021 show, singing her single “On My Way (Marry Me).”

The “Wedding Planner” actress wore a Dolce & Gabbana bridal tulle corset gown and matching veil for the song.

AMAs winners are picked by fans, with nominations being based on record sales, streaming, as well as radio airplay.
