Matt LeBlanc won’t appear on ‘Friends’ co-stars’ shows any time soon

He’ll be there for you — just not on TV.

Matt LeBlanc shared with “Entertainment Tonight” that he has no plans to be on any of his former “Friends” co-stars’ new TV shows any time soon.

“I’m taking some time off right now,” LeBlanc, 55, said when asked if he’d be appearing alongside his former castmates on any of the new shows.

“I’m just enjoying not having to do anything — it’s been kinda nice. Sorry, I’ll let you know when I do.”

The actor and his co-stars have all gone on to star in many different movies and TV shows since the iconic sitcom.

Jennifer Aniston is starring in the Apple TV+ drama series “The Morning Show,” for which she won a Screen Actors Guild award.

Courteney Cox appeared on “Shining Vale” on Starz, Lisa Kudrow was in Disney’s movie “Better Nate Than Ever,” and David Schwimmer starred in comedy series “Intelligence” on Peacock. While Matthew Perry’s acting career has dwindled, his memoir about his time on “Friends” and his struggles with addiction is set to be released in November.

LeBlanc’s latest acting gig was on “Man with a Plan,” a sitcom about a man who weathers the trials and tribulations of parenting when his wife decides to go back to work. LeBlanc starred on the show and also served as an executive producer.

The most recent public reunion of the “Friends” stars came in April 2021 — just after the “Friends: The Reunion” special on HBO Max. The cast participated in a “Carpool Karaoke” skit on “The Late Late Show” with James Corden where they sang the theme song in a cart while driving around the Warner Bros. studio lot.

Now, LeBlanc is focusing on getting involved with the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and attended the gala over the weekend.

“I got involved with the hospital — I was working with CBS, and they do a thing where the network kind of gets some actors from their shows, and they come down around Christmas time and hand out toys to the kids,” the actor shared with “ET.”

“Some of the kids had no idea who I was, but their moms or siblings or whoever did, and it was just — to see the looks on their faces, and just to kind of witness first-hand how great the hospital is and the work that they do, it’s incredible.”

“When I witnessed it for the first time, I couldn’t help but be really moved, and see the parents and the kids — it just really moved me, so, I got involved,” he added.
