The New York Performing Arts Academy’s programs are tailored specifically for a new generation of artists. Individuals from all over the world who share a passion for the performing arts and have a desire to study with respected industry professionals.
NYPAA’s 1-Year Performing Arts Training Program is a 48-week training program of courses and master classes taught by respected working actors, Broadway veterans, casting directors, agents, composers, lyricists, directors, producers, and other major industry professionals.
The program offers dynamic and demanding audition training experience, specializing in the performing arts. Working industry professionals provide guidance in exploring the rigors, challenges and many facets of audition technique and teach the skills necessary to be cast professionally.
This 4-class introduction is to familiarize yourself with our organization and our programs. This program meets every Saturday for 4 consecutive weeks.
You will be placed into an ongoing program to view and participate first-hand how our programs operate focusing on the essential skills of performing arts training in a conservatory atmosphere. Equal importance is placed on acting, singing and dance.

The Summer Musical Theater Training Program is a two-week intensive designated to address the needs of current students of theater as well as artists who have already been working in the theatrical community and are seeking a professional environment in which to hone their skills.
The Summer Musical Theater Training Program provides a diverse curriculum to develop the skills needed to become a well-balanced performer in all disciplines of musical theater.
Students of this one-week Audition Prep Program will apply essential skills to develop an understanding of how the technique learned in the classroom is applied to auditions.
Students will have daily classes in vocal audition technique as well as vocal coaching, monologue preparation and interview techniques.
Students will experience a mock audition and mock interviews with a panel of our faculty. A seminar with recruiters from various colleges and conservatories will also be provided to clarify what their schools are looking for in an incoming student.
